What are ‘metal frames’, exactly?

We offer metal gate frames as an add-on for all of our wooden gates. Today we’re taking a few minutes to explain why and show everyone what they look like. No matter how good the quality of wood, over time a new wood gate will start to sag due to exposure to the elements. This will make it hard to swing open and close. A metal gate frame will help keep your beautiful new wood gate from sagging! Metal cannot warp and is therefore always straight. These frames keep the gate “square”, meaning it will latch properly and look right in the opening area. Our metal gate frames create a low maintenance gate whereas normal wood gates are high maintenance. We highly recommend adding these frames to your wood gates. They come with a 5 year workmanship warranty instead of the standard 1 year workmanship warranty for a wood gate as well.
